Tucson High School Class of 1958 - Latest News

IT’S ON!!  We now have a time and place to share with you, as well as cost.  There will be more details as we go along, but for now, here’s what you need to know.

- Where:  The lovely and gracious LODGE ON THE DESERT.  Some of you may remember it from the olden days, and it still has the same old Tucson casual feel, but it’s grown and been updated over the years, and it’s absolutely beautiful; centrally located and easy to get to.  Go to http://www.lodgeonthedesert.com and check them out.   They’re reserving a block of charming rooms for us at a very reasonable rate.

- When:  It begins at 5pm WEDNESDAY EVENING, NOVEMBER 7, 2018, with a meet and greet no host bar; goes on through Thursday, with a late-ish breakfast and an early-ish dinner (socializing and assorted interesting activities between—and that’s all I’m sayin’ about that).  And, for those of us who’d like to keep it going a bit longer, we plan to get together for a no host breakfast at Cielos before saying goodbye on Friday morning.

- How much:  The hotel room will be your responsibility, but here’s the best part.  This may well be our last hurrah, and we have a secret benefactor who wants to subsidize the event so that as many of us as possible will be able to attend.  If you pay before October 1^st, the cost will be $60 PER PERSON (for breakfast and dinner and snacks on Thursday); after that it will be $100 per person—which is still a smokin’ deal. (I say this after many treks through many possible venues, reeling with sticker shock along the way.)  If you pay and then have to cancel, your money will be refunded.  And we here at Reunion Central will be sad.

So.  Given this information, I’d like another show of hands for planning purposes.  We need to know how many of you plan to come, so please let us know, and also tell us if you’re bringing a “plus one” or not.  More details to follow as we roll this thing out, but SAVE THE DATE!  We’re counting on you!
